Fintua

The first half of 2026 has been a strong period of progress for Fintua, marked by key client wins, continued product innovation and an expanding global presence across events and thought leadership.

Fintua Kick Off

We began the year with our 2026 Kick Off, bringing teams together to align on strategy, priorities and plans for the year ahead. It was an energising day that combined collaboration, innovation and connection across the business.

ELEVATE 2026

March marked the 7th edition of ELEVATE, and the first under the Fintua brand. Hosted at the Medieval Mile Museum in Kilkenny, the event brought together experts across tax technology, indirect tax, AI and eInvoicing to share insights on key industry developments. It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships with clients, partners and prospects.

Client growth and partnerships

We were proud to welcome Brambles as a new client, selecting Fintua Comply as its global VAT compliance solution. This partnership reflects the strength of our platform in supporting complex, multi-jurisdiction VAT requirements with scalable and automated reporting capabilities.

In parallel, Vodafone Group selected Fintua as its global eInvoicing partner, reinforcing our ability to deliver scalable integrated solutions in complex, multi-jurisdiction environments.

We have also partnered with leading multinational accountancy practices including Grant Thornton, BDO and Forvis Mazars to support their global VAT compliance.

In addition, we went live with our new partnership between Recover and Brex, the intelligent finance platform designed to empower fast-growing companies. Through this partnership, Brex will integrate Fintua Recover to provide customers with a seamless, automated solution for reclaiming VAT on global business spending.

Product innovation and capability expansion

Across H1, we continued to invest in enhancing both Comply and Recover to meet evolving client needs and regulatory requirements. Key developments include rollout of OSS and IOSS functionality within Comply, alongside the introduction of eInvoice and VAT return reconciliation -  providing greater control, accuracy and alignment between transactional data and reporting.

We also advanced our SAP Comply integration, supporting seamless ERP connectivity, and achieved CPD accreditation for Comply training, reinforcing our focus on expertise and continuous development.

Within Recover, we strengthened reconciliation capabilities across eInvoicing and expense management systems, and introduced feature enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.

Additional progress was made with Fintua Pay, introducing multi-bank connectivity (powered by Transfermate). This enhances our ability to support cross-border payments with greater efficiency, control and integration across finance and tax workflows.

Fintua VAT Academy Completion

Last year, we launched the Fintua VAT Academy to strengthen internal tax knowledge and support continuous professional development. Over several months, colleagues took part in in-depth training covering aspects of all things VAT. The programme concluded with a graduation event recognising participants’ achievements, including awards for the top three performers.

Together, these achievements reflect Fintua’s continued focus on innovation, collaboration, and delivering measurable value to our clients in an increasingly digital and real-time tax landscape.
