As we look back on 2025, we’re incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved together at CluneTech.
This year marked an important milestone as we were recognised as a Great Place to Work for the 10th year in a row. Reaching a decade of this recognition is a powerful reflection of the culture we’ve built together and our ongoing commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace. It’s a testament to our people, who bring CluneTech’s values to life every day.
We were also honoured to be recognised as a Deloitte Best Managed Company, acknowledging the strength of our strategy, leadership, and performance across the business. This recognition highlights not only our operational excellence, but also the focus we place on sustainable growth and long-term success.
Throughout 2025, we continued to prioritise the wellbeing and development of our teams. We evolved our benefits and people-focused initiatives to ensure they reflect the real needs of our employees, guided by ongoing feedback and open collaboration across the organisation.
Our commitment to social responsibility remained strong, with initiatives such as WeCan and our CSR Spotlight of the Month continuing to drive meaningful impact. These programmes demonstrate how innovation, community, and purpose come together at CluneTech.
None of this would be possible without the engagement, ideas, and dedication of our people. Your contributions shape who we are and how we move forward, and we’re incredibly grateful for the collective effort behind every success this year.
As we close out 2025, we want to thank everyone across CluneTech for their hard work and commitment. We look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead and continuing to grow and succeed together.
From our team to yours, we wish you a restful holiday season and a happy, healthy new year.

Hi everyone,
The past year has been another strong one for CluneTech and, in many ways, it feels like we are still building momentum. Across our businesses, we have continued to innovate and grow, welcoming new colleagues and customers, developing new ideas and working closely with partners around the world.
While we continue to adapt and evolve to make business better for our customers, one thing that will always remain the same is the importance of our people. The role you play in shaping our culture and success cannot be overstated. Our One Team mindset is built on care, respect and support for one another, and it is something I am deeply proud of.
As we head into the festive season, it is a time to pause, reflect and keep perspective on what matters most. While our work is meaningful and something to take pride in, it is only one part of our lives. The people we care about, the time we spend with them, and the way we support one another both inside and outside of work is what really matters. I hope this time of year gives you the space to be present with family and loved ones, and to take care of yourselves and each other.
On behalf of the leadership team, I would like to thank you sincerely for your hard work and commitment throughout the year. However you choose to celebrate, I hope you enjoy a well-deserved break and I look forward to seeing you all again in the year ahead.
Best wishes,
Terry

H2 has been a period of exceptional progress and recognition for TransferMate. From product innovation to regulatory expansion, award wins, and leadership growth, every milestone reflects our shared commitment to driving the future of global payments.
Our international expansion took major strides in H2 with regulatory approvals for our Singapore E-Money License and US Virgin Islands License, along with a new submission in Bahrain. These milestones bring our total to 99 licenses held globally, reinforcing TransferMate’s position as the most extensively licensed B2B payments provider in the world. Each addition strengthens our ability to serve clients worldwide and continue building a compliant, trusted network, with the next major milestone just on the horizon.
We’ve also expanded our Global Accounts offering, introducing Brazilian Real (BRL) and New Zealand Dollar (NZD) currencies, another step towards making cross-border payments as seamless as possible.
Partnerships continue to play a key role in our growth story, with QNB, Quidkey, IODM, Hero, Zycus, Herring Bank, and an integration with SAP Multi Bank Connectivity joining the TransferMate ecosystem. These collaborations further extend our reach and enhance value for clients globally.

The Product team has continued to elevate the TransferMate experience with the introduction of Account Validation and the Beneficiary Portal. These updates empower users with greater visibility, control, and security, reinforcing our focus on providing best-in-class payment solutions for businesses everywhere.

H2 was also filled with well-deserved recognition across the fintech landscape. TransferMate was honoured with several major wins and nominations:
And a special congratulations to Terry Clune, who received the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Fintech Awards 2025, well-earned recognition of his lasting impact on the fintech industry.

We also welcomed Owen O Byrne as our new Chief Product Officer, bringing expertise and vision to the next chapter of TransferMate’s product journey. His appointment marks an exciting step as we continue to innovate and scale globally.
As we close out 2025, it’s clear that our collective effort continues to deliver impact for our clients, partners, and each other. H2 2025 has set the stage for an even stronger 2026!

It has been an energizing period across the business, with strong momentum building on multiple fronts. We’re delighted to share that Johns Hopkins University has officially come on board, further strengthening our presence in the U.S. academic space.
At the same time, we’ve been expanding our Calculus services across additional FIFA entities, marking another significant step forward in our global growth strategy.
It’s also been an exceptionally active period for our teams on the conference circuit. The Sprintax team delivered three well-received sessions at the Payroll.org Educational Conference, while Johnathan successfully completed his first NAFSA Regionals.

Not to be outdone, Claudiu attended his first WYSTC in Lisbon, where Anna and Enda took to the stage to host the awards ceremony for over 250 attendees.
Meanwhile, Gabriel wrapped up a packed three-day schedule in Lima, presenting to more than 1,000 J-1 participants, and continuing to strengthen our relationships across Latin America.

On the product and compliance side, the Dividends team has made further excellent progress. They’ve secured e-signature approval from Revenue.ie, a major milestone that will streamline processes for customers. Even more impressively, they’ve successfully filed the first PRSA DWT claim with the Swiss Tax Authorities and are now gearing up to roll out this new service to Irish brokers.
All in all, it’s been a period full of achievements, new partnerships, and important milestones, setting us up well for an exciting year ahead.

As we approach the end of a busy Q4, we’re pleased to share that 2025 has been a very positive year for the PTI Returns team.
To start with some great news: we’ve seen a strong increase in new customer filings throughout the year. While growth has been evident across most markets, the French market has shown particularly impressive momentum.
In addition, Alina Moroianu has been working diligently to secure new partnerships, and we’re delighted to announce that several have been finalized in recent months, including FLATIO, Cozee Rentals, and Q Home.
The team is now gearing up for what promises to be a very busy Q1, with multiple major tax deadlines on the horizon - including Germany, Spain, France, and the UK, among others.
Meanwhile, the second half of the year has seen Team Taxback fully immersed in Ireland’s hectic self-assessed tax filing season. We’re pleased to report that it has been a very busy period, and at the time of writing, the team is working hard to submit all returns ahead of the 19 November Revenue deadline.
Once that deadline has passed, attention will quickly turn to the new year - and the start of a fresh PAYE tax refund season!
As we hurtle towards the end of the year this is the perfect time to look back and see what we as a team have achieved.
IDLF has attracted investments from 119 investors to date – and as part of their investment process we guide them through their Immigrant Investor Programme journey from initial application to receiving their Visa to live in Ireland. Our investment specialists offer a high standard of customer service to our investors.
Using the funds raised the IDLF investment strategy is to support businesses in Regional Ireland that otherwise would find it difficult to attract funding. Supported by our investment these businesses are able to thrive, boost their local economies and generate much needed employment in Rural Ireland.

During 2025, we successfully finalised the closing of IDLF Fund 1. IDLF Fund 1 had an investment of €51m, which IDLF invested in 10 hotels and nursing homes across Ireland. During late 2024 and early 2025, we successfully exited all our investments, which allowed our very happy investors to receive a 100% redemption of their investment.
But the story doesn’t stop with IDLF1, this is a trilogy. IDLF Fund 2 has raised €33m which has been invested in 6 hotels across Regional Ireland. These hotels are continuing to perform very well and we continue to work to ensure that our investors will receive a 100% redemption on their investment in 2027.
The final instalment in this trilogy is IDLF3, the newest and set to be the biggest of our three funds. We have so far raised €35m in Fund 3, and there is potential for another €60m to be raised in 2026. IDLF Fund 3 has already invested in the beautiful and strategically located Marine Hotel in Sutton, and we have a number of other potential investments which we hope to make in early 2026.

The second half of 2025 has been a period of progress and momentum for Fintua, from major client wins and product innovation to global recognition and industry engagement.
One of the most significant milestones of the year was welcoming Uber as a new client. Following a rigorous 12-month global evaluation, Uber selected Fintua as its preferred partner for their Global Tax Standardisation Initiative. Competing head-to-head with the top TaxTech providers, Fintua’s innovation, expertise and collaborative approach set us apart. This partnership marks a major achievement and reinforces our position as the #1 TaxTech Solution Provider globally.
H2 saw the launch of several new capabilities designed to enhance automation, compliance and data intelligence.
We introduced eSignatures, Tax Office Tracker, and Data Uploader, each designed to simplify workflows and accelerate compliance.
We’ve introduced a new Super Admin role for enhanced management, added support for Germany’s ELMA5 service for mass EU sales list files, enabled partners to submit VAT returns directly to HMRC on their clients’ behalf without a third-party intermediary, launched partner branding with customised logos, domains and support options, and introduced duplicate and reverse charge rules to automatically flag transactions that are duplicated or subject to reverse charge.
The new AI-powered Fintua Extract module enables intelligent invoice analysis. It automatically categorises spend data (e.g. alcohol, travel, accommodation, meals, entertainment), structures it into a custom report, and flags potential regulatory or policy compliance risks, bringing greater control and accuracy to spend management.

We’re proud to have welcomed Ineos as our first Fintua eInvoice client in H2 - a major step in expanding our eInvoicing offering. Fintua eInvoice enables multinational organisations to automate, validate and submit eInvoices in full compliance across global jurisdictions. As real-time reporting mandates continue to accelerate worldwide, this solution empowers tax and finance teams to stay compliant, efficient and future-ready - reducing manual effort, ensuring accuracy and strengthening global tax control.
Fintua’s excellence continues to be recognised across the industry. In H2, we were nominated for five major awards, including:

The Fintua team participated in over 10 global events spanning indirect tax, eInvoicing, Travel and AI. Including the GBTA Convention 2025, 9th Annual Strategic Indirect Tax Summit, AWS Cloud Day, eCommerce Expo, eInvoicing Exchange Summit Europe, SSON Week, AIPCO Inclusive Impact, Indirect Tax Directors Summit, ITR AI in Tax Forum, the 4th Annual VAT & Indirect Tax Forum 2025, Indirect Taxes Annual Conference, The Business Show and White Label Expo in London.
Still to come is the 2nd MENA Tax Summit in Dubai, Richmond Finance Director’s Forum, Tax Intelligence 2025, UKISUG Connect, Workday Rising 2025 EMEA and FinTech Connect.
We also hosted insightful webinars with partners and clients, including Mandate Readiness: How to Stay Ahead of Global eInvoicing Changes with RTC, and Driving VAT ROI: Inside Autodesk’s Tech-Enabled Compliance Strategy, alongside an AI-focused session, The AI Shift: Driving Innovation with Fintua, AWS, and Uber.

The second half of 2025 has been an action-packed few months as we dived into an exciting new venture and embraced new client relationships.
At the start of November, we were delighted to announce the launch of Workbloom, Benamic’s new HR recognition platform, designed to make celebrating great work easier, smarter, and more impactful for organisations everywhere. The launch comes alongside the expansion of our international team, marking a major milestone in our growth.
Workbloom streamlines how HR teams acknowledge and reward employees - whether in the office, hybrid, or fully remote. The platform brings together customisable rewards, centralised recognition tools, and real-time insights to help organisations boost engagement and strengthen connection without adding complexity.

“Our mission is to make employee recognition simple, strategic, and scalable,” says Julian Morrison, CEO of Benamic and Workbloom. “Too often, great work goes unnoticed - especially in hybrid or remote environments. Workbloom solves this by centralising recognition, celebrating achievements, and delivering actionable insights so organisations can proactively support their people.”
With manager-led recognition at its core, Workbloom offers personalised rewards - from vouchers to prepaid cards, backed by real-time analytics to ensure every gesture of appreciation truly resonates. Multi-currency support also makes it easy for global teams to embrace consistent, inclusive recognition.
Workbloom is designed to fit seamlessly into any HR ecosystem, helping teams build a culture of appreciation that lasts.
This year, we secured several new clients across key sectors, driven by consistent outreach and timely follow-ups. Teams have continued to strengthen relationships by providing clear communication, reliable delivery, and targeted solutions aligned with client needs. These efforts are contributing to a steady increase in pipeline activity and position us well for upcoming opportunities. Further details will be shared in the monthly metrics review.
Some of the highlights include: Gigabyte, Beyerdynamic, Kawai, Elon Group, Performance Health and Zoetis.
As well as this, we won business from existing clients in new territories such as: Panasonic, Acer EMEA and Asko Nordics.
Our Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaign made waves in the last few months. By aligning closely with Sales and focusing on high-value target accounts, we’re delivering tailored messaging and content that speaks directly to the needs and priorities of each industry.
As we approach the latter part of 2025 and transition into 2026, we’ll be enhancing our efforts with continued refinement and expanded personalisation to maximise our overall impact.
Stay tuned for more updates as we forge ahead, embracing new challenges and opportunities with open arms.
At CluneTech, we believe mental health is every bit as important as physical health. Yet too often it becomes the “elephant in the room.” Present and important but left unspoken.
That is why we are proud to be part of The Elephant in the Room movement. This public awareness initiative uses art to spark conversations about mental health and to break down stigma. It gives people everywhere permission to talk about their mental health as openly as they would talk about a physical illness, without fear of judgment or discrimination.
We all carry challenges that are not always visible. Sometimes these can feel too heavy to share. By making the elephant visible through art, we create space to talk, to connect, and to support one another. Research shows that when mental health is spoken about openly at work, it builds inclusion, strengthens trust, and creates healthier workplaces.
As Brent Pope, one of the initiative’s ambassadors, says:
“Everyone has an ‘Elephant in the Room,’ and this initiative is about starting conversations early before they develop into larger issues impacting people’s well-being. We need to normalise discussions around mental health and make it a daily priority, just like physical health.”
To show our commitment, CluneTech is running an Elephant in the Room Design Competition. We are inviting colleagues to get creative and help us design our very own CluneTech elephant. Families and kids are more than welcome to get involved and work together on your designs.

Download the Elephant Art Pack, then create your elephant design in your own way. You can sketch, doodle, write, or use colour, patterns, or words. There are no rules and no right or wrong ideas.

Upload your creation under the competition post on Workvivo or, if you would prefer to take part privately, send it to gptw@clunetech.com. However, please note that if your design is selected as the winner, we will be sharing your name alongside your design in a celebratory post on Workvivo for World Mental Health Day.
Alongside the design competition, we are also running a fun extra challenge to name our elephant sculpture. To take part, simply comment your name suggestion under the competition post on Workvivo or send it along to gptw@clunetech.com.
The winning design will be painted onto a four-foot tall elephant sculpture and placed on display at our Kilkenny HQ. It will stand as a lasting reminder of CluneTech’s commitment to mental health, inclusion, and wellbeing.
This is an opportunity to help shape a culture where conversations about mental health are seen, heard, and supported. By joining in, you are helping to create a workplace where everyone feels safe to bring their whole selves to work and build on our existing #OneTeam culture.
Pick up a pen, open your laptop, or write down a phrase or design that matters to you. However you choose to take part, your elephant can help change the conversation.
Together, let’s bring our elephants into the open 🐘
Sprintax, part of CluneTech and a global fintech leader specialising in non-resident tax compliance, was a key partner in the 12th edition of the IT Master Class project, organised by Varna University of Economics during the summer of 2025.
This year’s initiative, designed as a summer business academy, aimed to bridge the gap between academic preparation and real-world business through mentorship and training led by industry experts.
14 students specialising in Computer Science and Mobile & Web Technologies were selected from more than 50 candidates to participate in the IT Master Class. They took part in an intensive internship program focused on Frontend and Backend development, with sessions led by Sprintax specialists in three core areas: .NET, PHP, and Frontend.

For the participants, the hands-on experience in a real work environment and the personalised feedback provided by Sprintax mentors proved especially valuable. Several of the top-performing students have since continued their professional development as Junior Developers within the Sprintax team.
“We are investing in the future of Bulgaria’s IT sector by supporting young talent during their studies. Our partnership with the university enables us not only to share practical knowledge but also to identify potential future colleagues who can thrive in an international environment,” says Stefan Stefanov, CTO of Sprintax.

The collaboration between universities and businesses remains essential for preparing professionals capable of meeting the demands of today’s fast-paced technology market. The IT Master Class continues to be a proven model that connects education with practice, offering students real opportunities for professional growth, and we are delighted to have been part of it.
At CluneTech, we are committed to building a workplace where every individual feels respected, supported and empowered to reach their full potential. As part of this, we continue to strengthen our focus on gender equity, ensuring that women across all levels of our organisation have equal opportunities to grow, lead and thrive. Our approach combines policy, programmes, education, and cultural initiatives that promote openness around women’s health, encourage flexibility, and create lasting change.
To further support this commitment, we’re proud to introduce EmpowerHer - a dedicated programme designed to support, normalise, and empower women in the workplace. EmpowerHer brings together practical supports, awareness initiatives, and meaningful conversations that help foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
A central feature of EmpowerHer is our Maternity Reboarding Guide, designed to create a positive and consistent return-to-work experience. It provides practical tools and conversation templates for both employees and managers, ensuring every returning parent feels supported and valued.
Managers receive dedicated resources to guide open, inclusive dialogue around family, flexibility, and career development - helping to normalise parenthood and other life stages as natural parts of the employee experience.

This September, CluneTech was named as one of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies during a gala ceremony at the RDS in Dublin. This October, our Founder and CEO, Terry Clune, has been honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the National Fintech Awards 2025. This recognition celebrates Terry’s outstanding contribution to Ireland’s fintech industry and the continued success of CluneTech and its companies, including TransferMate, Fintua and Sprintax, who were also nominated on the night. The inaugural National Fintech Awards were established to celebrate the exceptional achievements of the entire Irish Fintech industry, recognising those who have demonstrated exceptional innovation, leadership, and growth in this dynamic and constantly evolving sector.

This October, CluneTech celebrated its best performance yet at the prestigious Career Show Awards 2025, taking home three gold company awards and earning two recognitions in Bulgaria’s Top 100 Talents at the ceremony held on October 2nd at Arena Sofia.
At the ceremony, held at Arena Sofia, we were recognised for our outstanding contributions in three major categories: Best Employer in Fintech, Best Employee Recognition Strategy, and Best Office Environment. In addition, Albena Pashova, Global Indirect Tax Recovery Manager at Fintua, and Nikolena Doncheva, Recruiter in our Group Services Team, were named among Bulgaria’s Top 100 Talents in Finance and HR, respectively, for their outstanding contributions to their fields.

In late October, at a stunning ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza in Dublin, CluneTech was honoured to receive The Best Workplace Award. This accolade recognises our ongoing commitment to fostering a culture where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
In addition, WeCan - our not-for-profit initiative that provides meaningful employment for adults with intellectual disabilities, was awarded Best Use of CSR in HR. This recognition celebrates WeCan’s innovative approach to inclusion and sustainability, as well as the positive impact it continues to make across our communities.

CluneTech’s initiative WeCan has been awarded Community Programme of the Year at the 2025 Sustainable Business Impact Awards, hosted by Chambers Ireland in Dublin on Wednesday, September 24th. This honour represents a proud milestone for CluneTech and shines a national spotlight on WeCan’s mission to blend social inclusion with environmental responsibility. The Sustainable Business Impact Awards are Ireland’s foremost celebration of CSR and sustainability, recognising companies that demonstrate leadership in creating positive change across community, workplace, marketplace, and environment.

This autumn, CluneTech has been named a finalist in the Attracting Talent category at the past Forbes HR & Employer Branding Awards. This marks our first recognition by Forbes in Bulgaria - a proud moment that highlights how our culture of trust, respect, and growth continues to align with leading workplace trends and best practices in the industry.

The heart of CluneTech lies in our people, and nowhere is that more evident than in CluneTech Cares, our employee-led CSR Programme. This initiative is a fantastic representation of our truly caring culture, as we channel our collective energy into supporting and making a tangible difference for both our customers and our local communities. Driven by its three key pillars - Wellness, Culture & Community, and Sustainability - it has been a period of significant activity. Check out the incredible work and latest activities we’ve achieved together this past quarter.

At CluneTech, our people are at the heart of everything we do and your feedback continues to shape how we make our company an even greater place to work. Over the past few months, our Global Great Place to Work Team has been gathering valuable insights from employees around the world through focus groups and pulse surveys, while also collaborating with our CEOs on meaningful updates to our policies and programs.
We’re delighted to share that, thanks to your input, several exciting new initiatives are being introduced to make CluneTech an even more inclusive, flexible, and supportive workplace.
Effective January 2026, we’re expanding our CSR Policy, which entitles each employee to one paid day per year to volunteer for a charity or cause that’s close to your heart. Previously, this benefit was available after one year of service, but going forward, you’ll be eligible after just six months.
Additionally, for blood donations, you will now have the flexibility to split your CSR day into two half-days, making it easier to schedule donations throughout the year. Whether it’s donating at a local blood bank or participating in a community blood drive, you can plan your CSR days in a way that works best for you - helping to save lives while fitting it into your schedule.
In even more good news, we’re increasing marriage leave from three to five days for all employees globally. Whether you’re getting married or entering a registered partnership, we want you to have the time you need to prepare, celebrate, and enjoy this important milestone.
This update reflects our ongoing commitment to work-life balance and to recognising the personal milestones that matter most to you. If you’re planning a wedding or partnership ceremony soon, your local HR team will have all the details on how to apply.
All of these updates are the direct result of your feedback - and we’re not stopping here! There are always more opportunities to have your say.
You can reach the Global Great Place to Work Team anytime at GPTW@clunetech.com, or contact your local GPTW representative to share your ideas and experiences. You can also share your feedback through our biannual Pulse Survey, which goes live twice a year - once in March and once in September - as well as through our global Focus Groups, held each April. Don’t miss your chance to share what’s important to you!
At CluneTech, we’re proud of the culture we’ve built together - one that values inclusion, flexibility, and care for our people and communities. Thank you all for continuing to shape our journey and helping us make CluneTech a truly great place to work.
Great Place to Work events are central to CluneTech’s #OneTeam culture, helping drive employee engagement across our global workforce. They give employees the chance to connect, network, and form stronger relationships across the business.
Our CEOs have fully approved attending these events during work hours, acknowledging their value in building team spirit, supporting well-being, and boosting engagement.
While you don’t need to make up the time spent at these events, please note that you will still need your line manager’s approval to attend. This ensures that the needs of your team and operational requirements are considered when scheduling your participation.
That being said, we’re excited to share some of our favourite moments from our Great Place to Work events from H2 2025. Take a look and enjoy the highlights from the past six months!

“This photo, “Calm waters, fading light,” was taken in September during my vacation in Fethiye, Turkey. It captures the peaceful moment just after sunset, with the last warm colors of the day reflecting on the sea and a lone catamaran resting on the horizon. It’s one of those brief times when you can be alone with your thoughts and truly appreciate the quiet beauty of the ending day.”
